Blessed, I am so so very blessed. I know this and have known it, but right now I understand more I feel that joy I appreciate it all more right now, more than I ever have before. It’s tangible.

something good and something sweet, i feel such a peace and a joy.
it is such a beautiful and freeing feeling.
it is like living with a large weight within you and then rain starts and you just sit and it pours over you. you can feel every little drop as it hits your skin, as it slides down you nose, your cheeks, into your smile as you feel the love.
and then with the falling rain the weight...

I want to be simple, to live and breathe the love poured out from Christ. I want it to be my joy, and my source. I want to rest in the peace of Him, to feel the sweet tender brush of his touch on my heart and know that this is true love poured out.
And I will abide and I will smile.

I do not want to be a man held by any thing but the grace and perfect security of God. I don’t want to pursue contentment in anything but the father. I want to deny the passions of the flesh because once brought to fruition these desires do not bring the peace and the joy. They do not bring the beautiful content that drawing near to Christ brings.
